Steve and Kate are expecting a little sister for Jonathan, so they wanted to have some photographs taken to document this time of anticipation in their family.  The late afternoon started with a Playground Portrait Session of Jonathan in the playground in northwest quarter of Memorial Park.  Jonathan is quite the climber.  He played on that playground with much vigor and enthusiasm despite the 90 plus degree temperature.   Kate and Steve are a great couple and Jonathan is an energetic little boy.  The location for the Family Session was at the north end of Elmwood Park near Dodge and the pedestrian bridge across Dodge to Memorial Park.  Steve and Kate were wonderfully relaxed for this session which made for an easy time getting some great photographs  Before Jonathan was born, Steve and Kate had pictures taken with Steve's Chicago Cubs fan gear in anticipation of a newborn Northsider fan.  In a "now it's my turn" attitude Kate decided to sport a mini tutu to acknowledge the forth coming dancing daughter.
